The Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (APSWREIS) under the patronage of the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh has been passionately and impeccably rendering its services from 1983 to improve the standards of life of the Marginalized students by providing them with quality and sustainable education in English medium from Class V to Intermediate (XII). The Society have 189 institutions and 3 specialized institutions for IIT NEET coaching is sheltering around 1,16,000 students.

The Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy strongly believes that imparting quality education is the only way to change the fortunes of the poor

The APSWREIS due to its invincible position in global public residential education map, continues to attract educators from different parts of the country and the world every year. APSWREIS with 1,16,000 runs institutions under different categories such as Non Upgraded (class V to X), Upgrades (class V to Intermediate) and Junior College (Junior and Senior Intermediate) covering both arts and sciences. This is more girl-centric with institutions giving education to 1,04,360 girls.

The APSWREIS team comes with an advantage of more than 3 decades of experience in residential education system with well-trained and experienced teachers who play a pivotal role in molding students as socially responsible citizens.

  • Annually, winning of minimum 10 Gold medals at National level sports competitions

NUG

Non-Upgraded Institutions are those institutions which have students from class V to X. As on today, there are 25 such institutes located across the state. In General, the overall strength in these institutions is 480.

Upgraded

Upgraded Institutions are those institutions which have students from class V to Intermediate. As on today, there are 164 such institutes located across the state. In General, the overall strength in these institutions is 640.

Junior Colleges

In accordance with the Centenary celebrations of the DR BR Ambedkar birth anniversary, the institutions started 4 specialized intermediate colleges with the Science & Arts groups in Srikakulam, East Godavari, Kurnool & Anantapur.
